Hi there! Welcome to our kid portal! My name is Annie and im here today to introduce you to our child rights campaign!
On this website we will be sharing tips, hacks and other tricks that help teens and kids with anxiety, peer pressure and much much more! So, to start off, I would like to give you all some tips on dealing with stress or anxiety because we've ALL been there.
If you want to see more tips like these go on our main website where you can subscribe for a monthly email giving you exclusive tips and updates!
Now, If your like me, you stress over EVERYTHING. (Like actually everything.)
I stress over tests, projects, conflicts, my personal problems, my friends problems and so much more. Sometimes it can get really overwhelming and just a lot.
When my mind is all fuzzy and confused I start feeling sad, lonely and just like a little blob.
But sometimes, you need to be sad and feel like a blob because that motivates you to new heights and it when you're done being sad you can move forward and achieve amazing things!
So, here's a step by step guide to being the best version of yourself and dealing with stress.
Enjoy!
Step 1 To Internal Growth And A Calm Mindset
Before you start listening to music, meditating doing anything else, it is crucially important to understand what overwhelms you! So, whip out your markers, pencils and notebooks (the joy of stationary) and make a list. You can put whatever you want on that list. Most importantly, just document it on a piece of paper and make sure all of the stressors are down on paper. Then, quickly skim through the paper and see if there are any small issues like for example a messy room (trust me there are more important issues in the world than your room. Now, once you've found a small issue, try to solve it in under 5 minutes.
While you are accomplishing the small task, blast some music and just have fun!
This method turns small issues and stressors into a really fun way to be productive and listen to your favourite upbeat songs!
Step 2 - Cleansing Your Mind
After you've had a little dance marathon and hopefully accomplished a small task/chore, take your piece of paper again and cross off the task you just accomplished. (Doesn't it feel great?) Next, organise all your stressors and tasks into categories! This will help you identify small and big tasks. It also helps you organise your thoughts and just clear your head!
The possibilities of categories are endless!
Some examples are: cleaning, chores, homework assignments, friendship issues and more!
Now that you've organised all of your stressors it's time to take action!
Step 3 - Just Do It!
This step might be the hardest of all but it's also probably the most important of all.
Just Doing It!
Whether your procrastinating on doing an assignment, waiting to talk to that one person you haven't talked to for years, or putting of an important chat with our friends, the hardest thing to do is just starting and picking yourself up!
Once you get engaged in a task or chore, time will fly by!
So don't be afraid to reach for your goals and dream big.
See you next time!
